Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors - Strangers No More Volume Two
Over his career, Drew Holcomb has emerged as one of music’s great independent forces, pairing a formidable instinct for storytelling with an unrivaled entrepreneurial spirit. With his band The Neighbors he has released nine full-length studio albums over the past two decades including last year’s Strangers No More – amassing more than 400K LPs sold and surpassing 500M Global Streams. Night after night Holcomb has brought his audience together, turning the band’s shows into celebrations of community, collaboration, and contemporary American roots music.
Strangers No More celebrates that sense of togetherness. Produced by Cason Cooley and featuring several co-writes including Ketch Secor from Old Crow Medicine Show and Natalie Hemby, the album expands on the band’s mix of timeless songwriting, modern-day Lauren Canyon folk, amplified Americana, and heartland rock & roll. The LP’s lead single “Find Your People” earned the band their first #1 Americana Single. On September 12th the band will be releasing Strangers No More Volume Two – an album of songs recording during the Stranger No More sessions and featuring none other than Vince Gill on the lead track “Green Light.”
Among Holcomb’s ambitious projects are Moon River Music Festival, an annual festival in Chattanooga which draws crowds of 12K each year, Magnolia Record Club, a monthly vinyl subscription service, and Sweetens Cove Whiskey, a highly ranked Tennessee bourbon in partnership with Peyton Manning, Andy Roddick and others. With the band, Holcomb has traveled the globe with a catalog of vibrant, honest songs that explore the full range of American roots music. They’ve played countless festivals including Bonnaroo, ACL, BottleRock, Stagecoach, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and more, while sharing stages with iconic artists like Willie Nelson, Brandi Carlile, and The Avett Brothers. They toured last summer with Darius Rucker, headlined last fall and spent a week with The Head and The Heart and have toured throughout 2024.
