Corbu is a grown-up choirboy on mushrooms, and a hairstylist/lyricist who had barely played an instrument before she was on a Jumbotron at Austin City Limits. Jonathan and Amanda make electronic dreampop to lure you deeper into your own subconscious, while giving you something to sing along to. They’ve toured with Bloc Party, performed with Goldfrapp and mixed their debut and forthcoming second album with Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, MGMT, Neon Indian).

BAD TRIP REPORTS is Corbu’s new audio/video podcast, in which they read and discuss accounts of “bad trips” to an original soundtrack while their artwork slowly melts behind them. The podcast is their attempt to bring darker psychedelic experiences out of the realm of stigma and into the light of day, and ride along on a rollercoaster of human emotion and Hunter S. Thompson-like absurdity. They believe that psychedelics are a powerful form of medicine, and when used with respect and reverence, can greatly assist in personal growth and heal psychological trauma. Bad Trip Reports (Original Soundtrack) Volume 1 is out Friday 9/24, and the first 8 episodes of the podcast premiere on Wednesday nights on Twitch, before being posted each Friday on the band’s Youtube.
