Seattle’s own Joe August releases his debut album via Spotify and all streaming platforms. The record is a nod to the greats; classic 60’s psych-rock influence with modern lyricism and production techniques.

Recent releases “Lotus Flower” and “Next Year” were debuted on radio stations across the US including KROQ, KEXP, 107.7 The End, Alt 107.5 Vegas and DC 101.

Modern Sound of Quiet brings a fresh approach to rock music that uniquely blends genres inspired by those who came before us. Joe’s releases have already garnered attention from Rolling Stone and Earmilk.

Mentored by iconic R&B/Soul artist, Raphael Saadiq, Joe was raised on a steady diet of roots Rock and Roll/ R&B. Through the Grammy Foundation, Joe developed his songwriting skills and worked with industry professionals to craft his sound and style. His music is a nod to the greats; classic 60s psych influence with modern lyricism and production techniques.

Joe has shared the stage with artists such as Tame Impala, FINNEAS, and Phoebe Bridgers.
