The Milwaukee, WI, Indie Folk, Chris Haise Band’s music is a blend of hook filled ballads and toe tappers; while Haise’s Dylan-esque vocals have been described as “smart new songwriting” (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel) and “Intense, Thoughtful Songcraft” (Shutter 16).
Written, produced, and recorded at Red Harrig studios pre-COVID, Half Of All Of Nothing is Haise’s exploration of navigating through the uncertainty of the modern world. Using allegory and metaphors to dissect songwriting, the narrative arc of the record masquerades as themes of love, past relationships, optimism, and family.
