Bluhm - Between Dreams

Bluhm, the Detroit-based dream pop duo of vocalist and songwriter Claire Bluhm and multi-instrumentalist/producer John Marion, announces their third full-length Between Dreams, out October 2. The follow-up to their EP Mostly Forever expands the hazy, intimate synth pop that has earned Spotify editorial placements on Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Indie, and Indie Chillout, along with early play on Gorilla vs. Bear’s show on Sirius XMU.

Between Dreams lives in the space between waking and sleeping, where late-night glow meets emotional tension. Their most ambitious release yet, the album is built as a journey in two halves. Side A is upbeat, danceable synth pop that feels like stepping into an underground club in 1989. Side B drifts into ethereal, existential dream pop, closing the album like a reverb-drenched lullaby. As always, Bluhm writes, records, and produces everything themselves, balancing softness and edge into a sound that is unmistakably their own.

The album includes the viral single “Low Light”; “Another Kind of Love,” featured on Spotify’s All New Pop; the Kate Bush-inspired “Diamonds in the Dark”; and more experimental, dreamy indie cuts like “Bet You Won’t Tell,” “Always on Your Mind,” and “Dirty Soul.”

To support the album, Bluhm has tour dates in the works for 2027, with routing and announcements to come.
