Leisure Hour - ...that one day

…that one day is the second installment of Leisure Hour’s “…and to think trilogy”, releasing October 2, 2026 via Counter Intuitive Records. The Muncie, IN variety emo band has quickly gained a reputation in the scene through their ambition, drive, and dedication to their community of fans, affectionately known as “Baddies”.  Coming just eight months after the release of the …and to think album in January, …that one day presents a flip side to that record’s ruminations on trauma, grief, anger, and regret. Leaning into the energetic and upbeat side of their sound, with the band saying: “…that one day is fun and fast, but still sad as hell, which, at the end of the day, is who we are, and who our Baddies are.”

Composed of bassist Grace Dudas, drummer Raegan Gordon, guitarist Isaiah Neal (all three trade off vocal duties), alongside guitarist Frank Blation, Leisure Hour are shaped by the road as much as the music. With 100+ shows a year, playing live isn’t something they build toward, it’s just what they do. They have taken this hardworking mindset into the studio, writing and recording their second album of 2026 in their limited off-time from the road. Embracing a “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” attitude on this album, …that one day deftly balances upbeat pop punk with heart-on-sleeve emo, with plenty of humor and sonic surprises in between moments of real self-reflection and the continued processing of grief and past decisions.
