Nolan Meteor - Heaven Between Us [EP]
New Jersey alternative pop artist Nolan Meteor will release his debut EP, Heaven Between Us, on July 3, 2026. Distributed through Mint 400 Records and produced almost entirely by Meteor himself, the four-song project blends towering, cosmic pop-rock ambition with romantic vulnerability, drawing inspiration from artists such as Muse, Luke Hemmings, Harry Styles, Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, and The 1975.
Built from soaring vocals, cinematic synth textures, and emotionally direct songwriting, Heaven Between Us exists in a world of blurred city lights, midnight drives, impossible desires, and restless hearts. Across four tracks, Meteor explores attraction, longing, uncertainty, and the strange beauty of wanting something that remains just beyond reach.
“The best art comes from a place of yearning,” says Meteor. “I’ve always been fascinated by the space between wanting something and actually having it. There’s romance there. Some of the most meaningful moments of our lives happen in the in-between.”
Produced largely from his bedroom studio, Heaven Between Us reflects Meteor’s desire to create music that feels both intimate and enormous. The EP pairs deeply personal lyrics with larger-than-life arrangements, allowing private emotions to become cinematic.
“I wanted these songs to feel huge,” Meteor explains. “I love records that feel larger than life, but the feelings behind them are incredibly human. These are arena songs made from a bedroom. You can hear me reaching for something bigger throughout the project, and I think that gives the songs their heart.”
Inspired by midnight streets, city lights, leather jackets, cigarette smoke hanging in the summer air, and the feeling of chasing something you can almost touch, Heaven Between Us creates a romanticized emotional landscape where longing is everything.
While its songs are filled with soaring choruses, shimmering atmospheres, and dramatic crescendos, the EP remains grounded in emotional honesty. Beneath the widescreen production is the perspective of a young songwriter trying to make sense of desire, uncertainty, and the persistent hope that something beautiful might still be waiting around the next corner.
