Thee Centipedes - Simple Math [EP]

Thee Centipedes are Maui’s most no-nonsense punk band owing a jagged, danceable debt to Pylon, The B-52s, Wire, and The Fall.  The EPs title, Simple Math, is exactly as described: no calculator needed to sum up the simplicity of the damaged pop.

Beth Liebling’s (Hovercraft/Schema/Lola/Teleportal) vocals paired with Michael Carothers (Sunday State) primal guitar workout is lifted up by the surf punk rhythm section and makes for songs that would be an excellent choice on a mixtape including contemporary greats like Lamborghini Girls, Amyl and the Sniffers, and Wet Leg.
