The debut album from San Tropez, Maybe Tomorrow (Mint 400 Records), is here, and it is now.
“The record as a whole strikes a strong balance between embracing more modern approaches like dream pop whilst continuing to honour the classics… embracing a consistent melody and a slight distortion of vocals that throw you headfirst back into the era of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive.” – The Rodeo Magazine
The members of San Tropez have been working to get to the songs on Maybe Tomorrow since their early days in bands in the burgeoning 1990s New Brunswick, NJ, music scene.
Shoegaze, dream pop, and indie rock meet at the tangent point that is Maybe Tomorrow. Songs on the album have also been compared to “a cross between the haunting, emotional atmospherics and rhythmic passion of The Cure and the noisy, edgy soundscapes of Pavement” – New Jersey Stage
