No Rome - Blueboy Must Die

Dirty Hit

Blueboy Must Die’ is the new mixtape from No Rome, out now on Dirty Hit. Featuring ‘Brother’, ‘Deep Diving’ and latest single ‘Elevator Music (OMG)’, the seven track collection is the first new music from Rome since the release of his debut album ‘It’s All Smiles’ in December 2021. In support of the release, No Rome plays his first UK headline show in 4 years tonight at a sold out Peckham Audio in London.

The EP finds No Rome working with producer Kurisu, resulting in his most eclectic, yet cohesive body of work to date, with influences ranging from UK Garage, through to Mort Garson’s cult classic ‘Plantasia’. ‘Blueboy Must Die’ is the sound of a genuinely unique artist immaculately distilling his seemingly endless sources of inspiration into a hugely impressive body of work.

Speaking about ‘Blueboy Must DieNo Rome says “Blueboy Must Die is an attempt to experiment on nostalgic sounds mixed with the new; different styles of music done in a certain sound palette. Maybe a song for a certain mood or time of the day. To me, its songs I’d play to bioluminescent plants”

With over 150 million streams globally to his name and support from Vogue, The Face, High Snobiety, NME, The Guardian, The Fader and Paper Mag to name a few, No Rome is consistently proving that he is one of the most exciting, versatile and talented young artists around.
