Formed in 2023 out of the ashes of a one off Jay Reatard cover band, Neon Rayon’s music mixes together elements of Industrial, Punk/New Wave, and EDM into something that has been said to sound like “if Trent Reznor produced the Hives”. Comprised of Bob Paulos, J Nixon, and Sean Pryor, they have been making an otherworldly impact on the always eclectic New Jersey music scene, particularly in New Brunswick and the legendarily music oriented Asbury Park. They have performed at such venues and events as the Wonder Bar, John and Peter’s in New Hope PA, OCC/Bill Bourke’s Tech Fest, and the Bucks County Motorcycle Club’s Annual Santa Saturday. With already accomplishing such things as local radio airplay and a featured spotlight on the BearWorld Magazine’s Spotify Playlist with only releasing two singles, Neon Rayon is proud to release their inaugural EP ARRIVAL.

From The Band: “Neon Rayon were created in a lab when Rayon HQ, located in another area of the cosmos, started receiving radio signals from your planet. Using a temporal drone, Rayon HQ pinpointed the exact moment in your history when most of your “music” began to be more of a hinderance than a help. The time has come. That is why we were sent. Neon Rayon is music for the people to dance themselves free. This 5 song extended play, entitled ARRIVAL is our first communication to this world. Toiled over and refined to its ultimate form within spacetime, it is something we and Rayon HQ are proud of. Our hope and intent for this inaugural recorded transmission is to be a key to any lock that binds the human spirit. That is our mission.“
