“An intriguing first taste” - Dork

Love Fame Tragedy have released their debut EP I Don’t Want To Play The Victim, But I'm Really Good At It via Good Soldier Songs / AWAL Recordings. The release is accompanied by a brand new track and music video for “Pills,” which debuted on Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World on Radio 1 – watch music video below. The project’s first EP sees Murph joined by a variety of friends and collaborators, including Pixies' Joey Santiago, Gus Unger-Hamilton of Alt-J, model and singer Maddi Jean Waterhouse, and former Soundgarden and Pearl Jam drummer Matt Chamberlain.

Named after a seminal Pablo Picasso exhibition at the Tate Modern, Love Fame Tragedy is the debut solo project from Matthew “Murph” Murphy, singer and guitarist for platinum-selling indie-pop heroes The Wombats. Following their live debut this summer at the Reading Festival, Love Fame Tragedy just finished a headline tour where they performed for crowds in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco.
