Leepeck - Where The Wild Things Drown [EP]

Self-Released

Where The Wild Things Drown (Part I) marks the beginning of a new chapter for Leepeck — an artist steadily building an international audience through extensive touring, intimate live performances, and an organic sound rooted in honesty and presence. The EP was recorded with a live, close-mic approach that preserves the warmth, air, and emotional detail of each performance — favoring subtlety and human dynamics over heavy production.

The release aligns with a run of international shows across New York, London, Berlin, Warsaw, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Newcastle, and Manchester. During the release window, Leepeck will appear live at Shrine Harlem, Pete’s Candy Store in Brooklyn, and will also perform a special session for Breaking Sound Radio at Paramount Times Square.

Across social platforms, Leepeck’s recent acoustic performance clips, tour diaries, and one-take live moments have resonated widely — generating over 5 million views on TikTok in the past six weeks. The visual storytelling mirrors the music: candid, unembellished, guided by atmosphere and emotional clarity.

At the same time, radio support continues to grow across the U.S. and Canada, with regular airplay from stations including WTTS, KZUM, WSCA, WRFG, KRFF/Radio Free Fargo, WUNH, and KGLT. This ongoing presence on independent and community radio has helped expand Leepeck’s listening audience organically, city by city.

The EP is supported by a continuous visual rollout — in-studio live videos, tour footage, and short-form documentary fragments — forming a cinematic record of the songs in motion. Where The Wild Things Drown (Part I) is the opening movement of a larger body of work, with Part II to follow in the months ahead.
