Introducing Kovacs, the remarkable Dutch artist whose music has captivated audiences across Eastern and Central Europe. Inspired by iconic singers like Betty Davis, Etta James, and Tina Turner, Kovacs embarked on her musical journey at a young age. Her talent quickly gained recognition, and in 2014, she released her first EP, ‘My Love,’ which set the stage for her subsequent success.

With hit singles such as ‘My Love’ and ‘Diggin,’ Kovacs made waves in the European music scene. Her debut album, ‘Shades Of Black,’ achieved chart success in an impressive 36 countries, reaching the Top Ten in Germany and even claiming the Number One spot in her native Netherlands and Greece. Kovacs‘ music videos on YouTube have amassed eighty million views on her channel and have more than doubled that with user generated videos. A concert with Metropole Orkest performing Kovacs material and hosting her as a guest vocalist adds another 10 million YT streams. A modelling contract with Viva Paris and many prestigious awards has solidified her status as a rising star. She has graced the stages of major festivals and had the honour of supporting renowned artist Robbie Williams. Recent shows in arenas and theatres of the Baltic states and 23 more shows this year including headlining the Istanbul Jazz Festival, Kovacs is also proving that as a live act she can’t be stopped.

Now, Kovacs presents her highly anticipated third album, ‘Child of Sin,’ a stunning testament to her artistry. ‘Fragile,’ showcases Kovacs‘ grand voice in its purest form. Together with producer Jonathan Quarmby, she ventured to Turkey and Portugal to record the album, seeking to capture its essence. The delicate beauty of ‘Fragile’ stems from its inspiration—an infusion of a classical Portuguese guitar piece by Carlos Paredes and the enchanting melodies of Istanbul’s famous gypsy string ensemble. The results are truly magical and special, offering a glimpse into the depth and sensitivity of Kovacs‘ music.

In a self-produced cinematic short film of Fragile, she fearlessly bares her vulnerability. Singing from a bathtub filled with cold milk, she personifies fragility, gasping for oxygen as if on the edge of breaking.
