JIVEBOMB - Ethereal

JIVEBOMB will release their debut album, ETHEREAL, on March 28th on Flatspot Records. Already making weighty impact with singles “SURVIVAL AIN’T TAUGHT” and “ESTRELA”, today the band amp things up with “SERAPHIM (MARINA’S SONG)”. The track finds the hardcore band yearning for something intangible, while delivering with winding metal riffs and gritty vocals. The spine-tingling video for the song, filmed & edited by Eight Gregorio and Jeremy Burgos, finds an angel-like Kat twisting band member’s fate into a bloody end.

JIVEBOMB had a run of shows supporting Quicksand, followed by a headline run in April with support from Polarview. The band has also announced a record release show set for April 26th at Ottobar with support from Jarhead Fertilizer, Cold Mega, Erode, E, Balisong, and Pictureplane (DJ Set). Entering the studio in summer 2024 with Ben Greenberg (Uniform) at Circular Ruin in Brooklyn, NY, JIVEBOMB knew they wanted to keep their raw, blitzed out energy while diving into heavier territory. Spanning ten tracks, ETHEREAL clocks in at thirteen minutes of destructive chaos pulling from hardcore, grindcore, and the extremities of music. It follows the band’s 2021 demo and widely praised Primitive Desires EP (2022). On ETHEREAL, JIVEBOMB’s brazen and gut-wrenching style delivers into a unique and rapid debut that urges repeat listens while building anticipation for what the band will create next.
