Deantoni Parks is a new wave/avant-garde/experimental drummer, songwriter, film director, actor and record producer born in Newnan, Georgia. He is the founder, producer and drummer of the New York band, KUDU, now called Art World Killer. He is one-half of the writing duo, Dark Angels with producer and keyboardist Nick Kasper, also a member of Art World Killer.' 
In between writing and performances he has been participating as part-time faculty at Stanford Jazz Workshop and Berklee College of Music.   Deantoni Parks is currently the drummer in The Mars Volta and plays in the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group. In addition Parks tours and records with many artistst including Sade, Meshell Ndegeocello, John Cale and others.  
Deantoni Parks debut solo album Touch But Don't Look was released July 31, 2012 on Rodriguez Lopez Productions / Sargent House
