Dad Bod - Pastels

Self-Released

Pastels has a timeless feel” – Puddlegum

“The Salt Lake psychedelic rock and pop band Dad Bod showcase their tangible chemistry as a band on their sophomore album, Pastels, sounding more confident and cohesive than ever before” – SLUG MAG

Formed back in 2018, the three brothers Michael, Marcus, and Matthew Marinos began to write music together in a small bedroom apartment. Their first few releases Truth, You Never Say Hi and 9 to 5, put them on the radar of indie music listeners around the globe.

In 2019, Russ Allphin, Jonny Seegmiller, and Kevin Castaneda joined the group and became an integral part of the band and writing process. In the fall of 2021, they released their critically acclaimed sophomore album Pastels. The album contains a range of emotions such as grief, nostalgia, and triumph while keeping groove and musicality.

Their music continues to blend pop and folk of the 1960s, with a modern-day feel. They have shared the stage with the likes of Mac DeMarco, Phoebe Bridgers, Loving, and Grouplove to name a few.
