The Clydes are an alt-pop-rock band from New Brunswick, N.J., that is making their indie label debut on Mint 400 Records. The quartet is led by two brothers — singer Brent Johnson and guitarist Brian Johnson — who have been playing together since they were kids.

They released three records on their own — two EPs and a full-length — before joining Mint 400's roster last year. Their first release on the label is Comeback Charlie, a five-song EP set to be released on Sept. 6, produced by Neil Sabatino of the band Fairmont. The Clydes have become regulars at famed venues like The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, along with a constant stream of shows in the Northeast over the past few years. After thrilling audiences, it is no wonder they have  been nominated four straight years for Best Pop-Rock Band at the Asbury Music Awards — New Jersey's version of the Grammys

"The Clydes manage to craft another alt-rock gem with “Or Not” with their keen pop sense in songwriting structures bolstered by more fully realized production." — Mike Mehalick, Speak Into My Good Eye on new single "Or Not"

"They write polished tracks that, while tipping their hats towards the group's classic rock influences, don't feel dated. That's not an easy skill to hone." — Bobby Olivier, NJ.com, 35 N.J. bands to hear in 2015
