Bristler - Cascades At Rest [EP]

Cascades At Rest is not quite a follow up, but a companion release to Bristler’s 2024 debut LP, Cascades At Play. Featuring 5 new versions of “Jaguar Shark”, “Counterclockwise”, “Skipping Rocks”, “Tiny Little Pieces”, and “Bank Robber”, it sees the songs from a new perspective, boasting a more subdued, ethereal acoustic vibe packed with textures and layers.

These versions were recorded in 2021, around a year or so from the time Cascades At Play wrapped recording, and were made by frontman Rudy Meier in a reflective period of solitude. With the band earnestly working on their next, as of yet untitled LP, think of Cascades At Rest as a mid-meal palette cleanser.
