Box Elder - Between Endings and Beginnings [EP]

Box Elder is an indie punk outfit from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Drawing influence from late 90’s/early 2000’s indie and emo bands (like Built To Spill, The Get Up Kids, Death Cab for Cutie, The Anniversary) and blending that with modern day emo and pop punk (bands like Tigers Jaw, Balance And Composure, The Menzingers, The Wonder Years) Box Elder bring a unique approach to the pop-punk aesthetic blending tight, high energy and roaring guitars with booming and ethereal synthesizers.

Box Elder started as the solo endeavor of front man and guitarist Christopher Archuleta during the pandemic to find some musical catharsis and released two EPs engineered in his bedroom independently. Box Elder now consists of Claire Holden (synthesizer/vocals), Ian Tompkins (guitar), Wil Ziegler (bass/vocals) and Oscar Garcia (drums) as of winter 22’ and they have been touring the west coast, PNW and Rocky Mountain states consistently since. Come 2024, Box Elder has released three new singles as a full band with no sign of stopping.
