Better Love - I Don't Want To Make It Hurt

Better Love (3-piece alt/pop band from Chicago, IL for fans of Florence And The Machine, Zeph, Phoenix, Empire Of The Sun) are releasing their debut LP in partnership with Secret Friends Music Group.  Better Love have seen success with their LP campaign with vinyl retailers as Rough Trade internationally carrying the release and single “Left The City” appearing on Fortnite Radio.  Better Love have performed multiple North American festivals and headliners throughout 2023 including Detroit MI’s Motor City Pride and upcoming Gainesville FL’s FEST along with the official LP release show in Chicago, IL on September 1.

Better Love are Jackie Heuser, Brad Harvey, and Kay Provencher, who came together with a goal to write songs about connection and the human experience. On the surface level, their music is driven by upbeat arrangements, unforgettable melodies, and the layering of Heuser and Harvey’s vocals, but it’s the transparency and vulnerability of their songwriting that continues to set them apart. Through songs like “Left The City”, “Stay With Me” and “Pretending” Better Love has connected with a global inclusive alternative/indie rock space as they continue to develop into their coming of age as musicians.
