Today, rising pop-punker AyoDylan releases his electrifying second EP, Knuckle Head, out everywhere now.

Knuckle Headis the electrifying follow-up to AyoDylan’s 2025 EP, Betty White. Channeling the raw energy of ’90s and early 2000s pop-punk, AyoDylan injects the genre with a fresh, modern edge by pairing infectious hooks with explosive guitar work and sarcastic yet self-aware lyricism. Across four tracks, the EP balances playful irreverence with moments of real vulnerability, capturing the chaos of chasing dreams, growing up too fast, and refusing to shrink yourself for anyone else. The result is a four track journey that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking, built for shout-along choruses, packed crowds, and anyone still willing to go all-in.

Opening track “Chris Joslin” sets the tone with breakneck instrumentals and gritty vocals, as Dylan compares skateboarder Chris Joslin’s legendary tre flip to the pursuit of his own dreams. “Jane From Breaking Bad” shifts gears into a bright, rocking track centered on “finding beauty in places that feel broken, and recognizing that the history, the scars, and the memories are what make something iconic.” Throughout the EP, themes of self-belief, resilience, and embracing imperfection rise to the surface, offering listeners both catharsis and a sense of empowerment. “Her Or The Guitar” stands out with its driving bassline and blistering guitar solo, while closing track and lead single “Kurt Cobain (Play It Faster)” encapsulates the AyoDylan’s true spirit: urgent, unfiltered, and unapologetically alive.

“I realized that a lot of people listen to my music on the way to work in the morning. They use it as a sort of motivation to get them ready for their day. I wanted to design this EP to fit that,” explains AyoDylan. “All of the songs are motivational in some way, telling people to follow their dreams no matter what. The songs are also super fast which always gets me more motivated. We urge people when they are listening to this EP to drive the speed limit and drive safe. But if these songs shave 6 minutes off the drive… it’s not the end of the world.”

In June, Dylan will hit the road supporting Nathan James on select dates. Kicking off on June 1st in Phoenix, the upcoming tour will hit Denver, Salt Lake City, Twin Falls, and Bend, before concluding in Tacoma on June 7th.
