Comprised of husband-and-wife duo Coty Hoover and Becca Smith, Admiral Radio has steadily become one of the most quietly compelling acts emerging from the Americana space, blending close harmonies, heartfelt storytelling, and lived-in songwriting that feels equally timeless and immediate. Named after an old wooden radio, the band traces its roots back to waiting tables together in South Carolina’s Lowcountry before building a grassroots following through relentless touring, independent releases, and emotionally resonant live performances.

Their upcoming album Heirloom marks the duo’s first project with Too Fine Records, a Nashville-based label created by longtime managers connected to artists including Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, Ellie Holcomb, and Judah & the Lion.

Heirloom explores what lasts – relationships, resilience, legacy, and the small moments that ultimately shape who we become. While comparisons to Shovels & Rope and Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors feel natural, the deeper DNA of the record reaches back toward the storytelling traditions of The Carter Family, channeling close harmonies, emotional honesty, and songs designed to stay with listeners long after the record ends.
