Up-and-coming indie-pop artist Maya Salafia releases her debut album, Girl Like Her, on February 6th on all streaming platforms. Exploring topics surrounding falling in love and self-discovery, Girl Like Her brings a new level of vulnerability and truth to the indie-pop scene.

Maya Salafia is a singer-songwriter based in Boston, Massachusetts. Known for her striking mix of raw emotion, killer hooks, and honest lyrics, Maya’s sound is the soundtrack for life’s messy moments. Whether you’re falling hard, falling apart, or just trying to figure it all out, her music takes you there. She began her music career in February 2021 with the release of her debut single, “First Grade.” Since then, she has added other amazing songs to her discography, including “Everlasting”, “Swim”, and “In the Fall”. Maya took First Place Vocals with Instrument Category at the New England Music Festival in 2024. She was also the recipient of their Annual $1000 Scholarship Award. Maya’s music has been featured in numerous music review blogs and websites. She has performed live at various clubs, coffeehouses, and festivals in Boston and throughout New England.
