Steven Donahue, the man behind Bloomfield NJ's Young Legs does it all. Steven is a producing and playing machine, from his latest production of Pixl-Visionary & Kult Of Mary albums to his stints as a musician with The Big Drops, Trim Tabs and others. However in his solo project Young Legs, Donahue excels at writing haunting ballads that range from Nick Drake-ish to Elliot Smith-ish as well as songs like "The Historian" that feel like a Belle and Sebastian or Lucksmiths cover. "The Petal and The Page" is Donahue's third release with NJ's Mint 400 Records and shows an amazing maturity and skillfully honed songwriting that makes Young Legs one of the more unique bands from the Garden State. This new album is a monumental leap forward in production, songwriting and will be sure to announce to the world that Young Legs is here and should be your new favorite indie band.
