This Bliss

This is a true story. Electro-rock band This Bliss follows up their fall 2018 debut with an even bolder statement: Dramatization of Real Events. Always content-driven with a unique balance of electronic sounds and gritty rock guitar, This Bliss continues their cinematic journey with higher energy, adventurous production, and a whole lot of attitude.

After releasing their debut, Forensic Styles, the Boston-based trio (Jess Baggia, Tom Maroon, and Nick Zampiello) had an incredible year performing in New York and New Jersey, playing a rock opera during New Orleans Carnival, and returning home to participate in the famed Boston Rock and Roll Rumble. Now, the trio delivers a more self-assured sound, full of exciting new elements with the same cinematic sensibilities.

The first single, 'Talk Talk Talk', sets the tone with a bright, upbeat indie-rock anthem. A tongue in cheek commentary on people who will do anything for their chance in the limelight, it's both swaggering and melodic, with bubbling basslines and meaty guitars.

Dramatization of Real Events will be released on July 26th in partnership with Mint 400 Records. The band will celebrate the release on July 27th at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA, with Sidewalk Driver and labelmates, the Furies.
