The Limbos formed as a two piece in 2008 under the name "Stu Benedict". While originally consisting of merely drums and piano/vocals, they eventually grew into their current 5-piece format which contains a heavy cross pollination of genres. 
Their newest release, a Psychedelic Surf EP titled “Eeny Meeny”, will be available on Mint 400 Records in August 2016. The Limbos have a healthy dose of throwback 60’s Ventures-Esque surf style but mixed with elements of modern music and almost come off as the soundtrack to something directed by David Lynch. The Limbos are a lush mix of stout reverbed out fender guitar on top of horns and a top-notch rhythm section. “Eeeny Meeny” is The Limbos fourth recorded effort and is the first time they've recorded anything that is 75% instrumental and the result is pure surf rock bliss.
