From post-punk beginnings to melancholy daydreams, New Jersey based singer-songwriter, Dennis King AKA Sonofdov (pronounced son of dove), writes hauntingly beautiful music. A  2016 NJ Folk Festival award recipient, King is able to straddle lines of folk, post-punk and indie to make a sound all his own. His homespun productions have been featured in films (Coyote, Wander), TV (PBS, Discovery) and frequently found on a number of Youtube playlists. 
Towers, his first LP on Mint 400 Records, taps into our subconscious and recognizes the fears, battles, and longing to escape the barriers we’ve all built. Sonically, King continues to celebrate his DIY colors along with production support from Skylar Ross Recordings, opting to record in the bathroom of course.
