Rachel Ana Dobken (drums, guitar, vocals, piano) is a powerhouse musician who studied jazz at Bard College. Self-described as “My Morning Jacket-meets-Lake Street Dive,” she has a knack for blending indie-rock and soul, and has been featured by BTRtoday, The Deli Magazine, Substream Magazine, Relix Magazine, New York Times, Asbury Park Press (Top 12 Songs of 2018 in NJ- “Everybody Wants”), the Star Ledger/NJ.com (Top 31 Bands to See in 2019), Travel+Leisure, The Aquarian Weekly (on the cover) and more. Her self-released and produced LP When It Happens To You, is out now, along with a music video for “Always” (below) 
Dobken’s highly anticipated LP, When It Happens To You, features Dobken (producer/songwriter, drums, vocals, guitar, piano), Dan Haase (bass), Ryan MacLean (guitar), Andy Jackle (drums), Chris Dubrow (bass), Mark Masefield (B3 organ), Joey Henderson (guitar, vocals), Danny Clinch (harmonica) Ian Gray (trombone), Bruce Krywinski (trumpet), Denis Daley (bari sax). Recorded at Cedar Sounds in Oceanport, NJ.
Dobken worked closely with famed music photographer Danny Clinch (who photographed and played harmonica on her album) at his Transparent Gallery in Asbury Park, where she is from. She performs with Clinch regularly, and has sat in with national acts G. Love, Robert Randolph, Rayland Baxter, Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem, Grahame Lesh, Nicole Atkins, Blind Melon, Tash Neal, and many more.
