With an ever-evolving sound and recently expanded lineup, Pioneer the Eel present an emotional music wrapped in swirling layers of percussion, keyboards and guitars. Originally born as a cymbals-less and bass-less art project in Bloomfield NJ, the music has organically molded itself into something all-together different. Core members Craig Monaco, Wayne Green & Victor Fernandes are joined by Adam Bird of aBIRD (Mint 400 Records) on keyboards and Tom Barrett formerly of Overlake (Bar-None Records) on bass guitar. The bands anticipated second LP will be released on NJ based Mint 400 Records on August 30th, and promises to be the bands most ambitious work to date.
