High On Drama could be the swan song we’ve all been looking for or it could be the spring board that breathes new life into Noise By Numbers. The EP is made up of six tracks that pick up where the band left off with Over Leavitt with the added bonus of a cover of The Lemonheads ‘Rudderless’ The five new tunes are drenched in odes to bands like Husker Du, the Replacements, and Sugar, and ‘Rudderless’ shows more than enough respect for the original. Chicago is known for its legendary bands and there is no doubt in our minds that Noise By Numbers has earned a spot next to all of them even if they haven’t received the recognition we feel they deserve.
