NGHTCRWLRS return with their second album Raging Hot, following their self-titled 2015 debut. With Raging Hot, NGHTCRWLRS mold indie rock in their own inventive and highly sarcastic image. Lead single “Are Two Dee Too” is ‘90s indie rock from an alternate universe, somehow managing to be as quirky, catchy and original as the guitar rock from that decade is remembered to be. “Disco Diva” and “Fear and Greed” take funky ‘80s glam and combine it with all manner of psychedelia and noise. The catchy punk rock of “Coffee and Weed”, “Losers” and “Quarter Inch Cable” reveal the band’s innate sense of humor but are balanced out with the bad trip shoegaze of “Lot Lizard” and “Rot”. The brilliant album closer “Waiting...” sounds like a Sunny Day Real Estate song from another dimension.

Who knew that guitar rock could sound so exciting and invigorating in 2016? Raging Hot is one of the most exceptional and interesting albums of the year. We hope you enjoy it!
