I can’t think of a truer statement than Ed’s. MAUCH by MAUCH is the continued work of Max Rauch’s solo project. Max, a staple in New Jersey’s music scene for over a decade has seen successful stints with previous bands Tourmaline and Washington Square Park and current band LKFFCT. MAUCH takes elements of all his previous work and puts a bit of a fun twist on it. Both in lyrical content and song titles, you’ll have yourself a chuckle, find your favorite earworm and consistently bop your head from top to bottom on this EP. Always hooky in both rhythm and melody, MAUCH shows that you can write and great song and have fun doing it. On all previous releases, Max did all the work himself with recording and mixing the tracks but this time things are a bit different. Bringing on previous collaborator and natural sounding local hi-fi expert Skylar Adler of Skylar Ross Recording, this record bangs in way a MAUCH record has yet to do.
