Loose Buttons

At first glance Loose Buttons may seem like newcomers to the music industry. Yet despite the fact that the group’s members just turned 21, and are just over a year removed from the release of their debut EP, Loose Buttons has headlined the 600-capacity Brooklyn Bowl in New York City, played the 2013 CMJ Music Marathon (where the Examiner named them one of the 'Top 12 Artists to Watch' at the festival), the past two Northside Festivals in Brooklyn, NY, played in Times Square with Grizzly Bear and My Morning Jacket, and teamed up with Amnesty International in Washington D.C.. Damage Gallery, their follow-up EP, will be released through their own Moon Crawl Records imprint in September 2014.

It’s not every day that a group so young has so much experience playing live in one of the world's biggest music markets. Singer Eric Nizgretsky, guitarist Zack Kantor and bass player Manny Silverstein all played their first Manhattan club gigs when they were each just 14 years old. Starting early has its benefits, and the guys had performed at legendary NYC clubs like Kenny's Castaways, The Bitter End and the Knitting Factory - as well as newer and larger venues like the Gramercy Theatre and Santos Party House - years before they were old enough to attend them as patrons.
