Latvian Radio have crafted their own brand of indie-power pop to critical acclaim for a decade now. Their new and fifth album Until Tomorrow Gets In The Way already secured a spot on the Big Takeover Magazine's Top 100 best albums of the year list. It blends straight up power pop, UK post punk, new wave and lush ballads. Their 2014 release For Love & Spite ended up on 5 different best album of the year lists including a top 10 finish in Absolute Powerpop. It also earned continued support from the press. A mainstay on college radio since their 2006 debut Happiness Above A Hardwood Floor with numerous weeks on the CMJ top 200 chart. The press has linked Latvian Radio to the likes of Elvis Costello & the Attractions, the Replacements, the Shins, The Decemberists, Big Star, Brendan Benson and early REM.
