Feli and the LemonShakers announce the release of their highly anticipated second EP, Highlife, via Mint 400 Records. The single, "Get Through," will hit online stores June 22nd followed by the full EP June 29th. Highlife is the band's first release since 2016's Naïve. Marking strong melodies and molding more indie-pop with african guitars, a touch of soul, and more rawness than previous works, Highlife is certainly worth the wait.

Produced by The LemonShakers themselves (Felicia Soumah, Anwar Glenn and Carlos Fornié), the EP has been recorded at Radioastro Studios in Los Angeles (CA) and has the touch of mixing engineers Woody Aplanalp (Lauryn Hill, Bobby Womack, Aloe Blacc), Andrew Coulter (Soul Catalyst), and a very special touch in the mix of "Get Through" from producer/mixer Kevin Skaggs (who has previously worked with Felicia in her solo project Felish). Being from different countries, Feli and the LemonShakers were pushed hard to work from a distance. As Carlos Fornié recalls, "That can make things go a little slower at times, but at the same time, more people get involved and look forward to hearing it. Due to the extra effort that the distance requires, we found ourselves getting more excited for this EP".

The 2016 debut EP Naïve launched the LemonShakers' rocket towards success. Becoming Converse Rubber Tracks winners, performing at legendary stages such as the Greek Theater in L.A., Ivar Theater in Hollywood, and NAMM, as well as being featured on TV, radio, and in music blogs in the U.S. and Europe, Feli and the LemonShakers are well on their way to great things.
