ENDLESS WAVE is proud to announce the release of our first LP, Notes From the Compound, available digitally and in stores nationwide on June 7, 2011. The indie rock trio best known for their dynamic songwriting and engaging live performances consists of André Obin [vocals, bass], Timothy Ryan [guitars] and Tucker Dawson [drums].

In the summer of 2010 ENDLESS WAVE released the first of two records produced by Paul Q. Kolderie and Adam Taylor at Camp Street Studios in Cambridge, MA. Named after its title track, the City Walls EP [FP001] found a home on the CMJ Top 200 charts for 4 weeks in January of 2011, peaking at #111.

The December 2010 closing of Camp Street Studios was a major loss to the Boston music community. Formerly Fort Apache Studios, Camp Street was integral to the development of signature sounds that launched the careers of the Pixies, Radiohead, and Morphine. Notes from the Compound was the last record finished at this historical studio.

Both the City Walls EP and Notes from the Compound are available courtesy of Fort Point Recordings [FP001] & [FP005]. Remixes and vinyl are in the works. In addition, the band has licensed their 2 albums to publisher Black Toast Music.

“Their music is full of heavenly, crystal clear guitars (Ocean Drive), fuzzy distorted bass lines (Last Phase), and sudden bursts of energy from start to finish that are bound to catch you off guard.” - The Styrofoam Drone

“Imagine the Verve, Ride, Slowdive, or My Bloody Valentine if any of those bands went jogging on a regular basis. There's a bit more of a rock thrust to these songs than is often found up the nü-gaze tree." - Boston Phoenix

“They’ve taken an established genre and breathed new life into it, and this impeccably produced debut shows they’re ready to take the dream-pop reins for themselves.” - The Weekly Dig

"Obin is ambitious and thoughtful in his reflective, stunning vocal statements. A shining star has been found rising on the near horizon." - Performer

"Shoegazey goodness with a bit of drive about them. Like Galaxie 500 doing the Jesus and Mary Chain’s speed." - bestofmyspace.uk
