Two-time Grammy-nominated and BMI award-winning singer/songwriter Elsten Torres offers an emotional look at his personal journey with his second solo project “Waiting for Clouds”. The album features an all-star cast of guest performers including Guatemalan singer/songwriter Gaby Moreno (On #2, 3 & 5) and band members for international superstar Shakira including Torres’ former Fulano de Tal band mate, Brendan Buckley. This is the second time Buckley has produced in collaboration with Torres. Their first release, “Individual” (2007), was the only independent album to receive recognition from the American Grammys that year and was nominated for Best Latin Pop Album. “Waiting for Clouds” is mixed by multi-Grammy award winning producer and engineer, Sebastian Krys.

Elsten Torres is a two-time Grammy-nominated singer / songwriter who blends pop, Latin, and Americana musical flavors into rich and eclectic artistic expression. The Cuban-born, New York-raised musician is credited as one of the pioneers of the Latin rock movement of the ‘90s and has had numerous hits on Billboard’s Top Ten including a number one song for five consecutive weeks.

His diverse cultural influences create an innovative musical style yet he remains authentic and true to his roots.
