Electric Touch

International glam-rockers, Electric Touch have just announced that their debut self-titled album will be released in August on Justice Records. This album is a tour de force of rock hard riffs and brilliant melodies that leave you humming and buzzing on Electric Touch all day. Produced by Frenchie Smith (Built to Spill, The Dandy Warhols, Meat Puppets) with additional producing and mixing by Gavin Mackillop (Goo Goo Dolls, Sugarcult, The La’s), this album announces the arrival of a bold new talent with a seal of approval.

Lead singer Shane Lawler came all the way from Nottingham, England, to Austin, TX following his love of music and a former band. It was in Austin where he found his true sound with guitarist Christopher Leigh and twin brother Louis Messina who plays drums. Ross DuBois came in on bass to solidify the line up of Electric Touch. Together, they mix their backgrounds of English pop, Bay Area punk, and deep Texan blues with influences like Kiss, Aerosmith, Muddy Waters, and David Bowie,

Electric Touch puts their mics where their mouths are, and are currently hitting up every major summer festival in the US to prove they can bring the rock live. They wowed crowds at SXSW, Coachella, and are en route for Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Summerfest, and Austin City Limits all while packing venues all over Texas in their “off time”.

In a recent interview at Coachella, Shane summed up the band and their motives: “I don’t like my rock-stars to necessarily remind me how awful the world can be… a lot of people do that. We want to have a little bit of escapism for people and to come and have a good time. So leave your troubles at the door… and hopefully we can put a smile on your face”.
