Cousins are a bare-bones garage-rock power group, hailing from Halifax, Canada. Comprised of guitarist/singer Aaron Mangle and drummer Leigh Dotey, together they manifest Mangle’s quirky vision of sweet n’ heavy raucous pop music in a live show that is both poetic and violent.

Having recently returned from a month-long European tour, hitting fourteen shows in seven countries, Aaron & Leigh are back out on the road: heading across the Trans-Canada for their Canadian summer tour! Cousins will also make five stops state-side in early fall; visiting Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Construction & Destruction are Colleen Collins and David Trenaman. The pair met in London, Ontario, Canada in about 1994.  Construction & Destruction started in about 2005, or so. They record themselves, and others, in the Quarantine: their living room studio in an old house by the sea. 

The folks at CBC Radio 3 have described their sound as “raw and occasionally primitive.” Gripping the coast of Nova Scotia, Colleen Collins and David Trenaman have captured the intensity of isolation. Halifax’s The Coast has hit the note: “stories of being ground down by isolation, struggling for self-reliance, independence and understanding.”
