Broadheds
Broadheds is collaboration in the truest sense of the word. Churned out live and loud and fast in a grubby studio over 3 days, Broadheds revisits teen angst, hope, and innocence with a tip of their hats to the contributions of James Chance and the Contortions, Bad Manners and Joe Strummer.
"Broadheds was inspired by indie-rocker Peter Walker of the band Eulogies' desire to capture the raw turbulence of adolescence. Peter enlisted the help of The Kooks' Denny Weston, Jr., Justin Medldal-Johnsen, and Jame King from Fitz and The Trantrums to jam out out a debut in just three days of furious recording." - TEAM COCO
"Recording 'Pick Me Up' felt as if we were taking a break in between multiple high speed roller coaster rides. The band was able to catch its breath from the other fast, aggressive tracks and lay into something quite sweet, the likes of which are only hinted at through the rest of the album," Broadheds' Peter Walker tells Rolling Stone. "It's a love song – a profession of love and the need to hold onto the fire and desire between two people – even if summer break might get in the way." - Rolling Stone
