"Engineering nerds?" (pitchfork) who write songs that are "incontrovertibly fun." (yahoo music) Formed somewhere in New York City in late 2005, their music is equal parts grandiosity and intimacy: psych-informed, experimental songs with chamber pop strings and horns, gospel-influenced percussion, dense backing vocals, looped guitar riffs and propulsive bass lines. They are currently on tour supporting their new record "Eve", to be released 2/1/11.
