"Portland, Oregon's avante-garde/indie-folk 11-piece outfit, All The Apparatus, have a new, sophomore full-length. Self-described as "Avant-garde dirty gypsy klezmer jazz indie anti-folk rock! Otherwise known as Grand Eclectic," Portland, Oregon-based All the Apparatus have garnered comparisons to Gogol Bordello, Devotchka, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Comprised of Al Rosales (guitar, accordion), Jenna Chidester (cello, ukulele), Bremen McKinney (accordion, guitar), Kathleen Majdali (ukulele, recorder), Mike Edgar-Hansen (bass), Sherrilyn Edgar-Hansen (glockenspiel, omnichord, melodica, bowed psaltery), Dustin Geddes (trumpet, melodica, keytar), Erika Marler (French horn, steam pipe 5000, kalimba), Ezra Frantz (drum, tambourine, trombone), John England-Fisher (accordion, trumpet), and Nate Gehrman (drum set, percussion), the eleven-piece outfit isn't small by any means: in sound or stature.

Relocating from Honolulu, Hawaii in January 2010, where they were referred to by the locals as "Honolulu’s own Arcade Fire," the group landed in Portland, Oregon, to further their musical careers, and develop their sound in a part of the Pacific Northwest rich with purveyors of unique indie-folk. Dedicated to the memory of the members' friend, James Don Warren III, to whom they dedicate all of their performances to this day, the album is brought to life by a band that got their starts busking in Hawaii, honing their skills to at the beachside walks of Waikiki, in front of junkies, prostitutes, and angry basketball men, an audience that may make weaker bands crumble, but helped All The Apparatus get that much tighter.

Their busking adventures started catching the eye of local music fans and journalists, resulting in ever-growing crowds - and prominent write-ups in the Honolulu newspapers repeatedly. This helped the band land several club dates around the island, and then few large festivals, including one at the end of 2009, where they co-headlined with Portland guests Blitzen Trapper. At this festival the band also released their debut, "Lawless Seas." And, the seeds they planted started to grow, resulting in a move a few months later to Portland, Oregon.

Entering the studio in early 2011 with producer David Eaton (Polyphonic Spree, Dynamite Hack), the band is happy to announce the release of their sophomore, self-titled album. Following the album's release, the band plans to keep busy throughout the summer and fall, touring as much as they can." - In Music We Trust
