Tich Lange was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. Adopted by an Australian family he grew up in Perth and moved to Adelaide at the turn of 2000. Around this time Tich performed with various hip-hop crews and as a solo artist and appeared at the Big Day Out Festival in Perth and Adelaide and live to air on the Triple J National radio network. 
Tich began writing rhymes as a teenager and by the time he’d met up with Antonio Hicci in Adelaide, he had written enough tracks to fill a triple album. Prolific became more productive with Antonio in the co-write seat and behind the mixing desk, the combination produced songs that were stronger in structure and diversity.
