The Lampshades, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania indie rock three piece, are rolling out their new long awaited LP Astrology. The album is an epic journey through 14 eclectic tracks that all link together. The seasoned trio delivers a record full of intricately written songs that reveal more with each listen. A recent signing of NJ's Mint 400 Records, The Lampshades deliver an indie epic with their latest release. 

Popdose has called the band "a Pittsburgh trio of the finest caliber". Imperfect Fifth has characterized the band as "beautifully chaotic", No matter what the characterization, any listener of Astrology will find something to love. The band draws influence from the indie rock acts of their 90's youth and classics such as the Beach Boys and Big Star, while aiming toward their favorite epics such as Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and the Soft Bulletin by the Flaming Lips.
